Jacket - Mute by JL
It was probably one of my favourite shoots in a long time. I had met Alexa when I lived in Halifax and we had been wanting to work together for a while - when the opportunity finally come up + we were going to be in the city at the same time we knew we had to do a fun fall shoot mashing up our love for great photography + minimal style aesthetics.
The shoot was so fun and so inspiring for me to get a peak inside these two brilliant photographers' minds. And my goodness, these two are such a blast to work with! They are so warm + so talented. Plus, I even had my own hair fixer! (Thanks Luke for making my untameable baby hairs look good :p). When I arrived they already had images they wanted to take in mind, which made for a very effective shoot that inevitably led to these gorgeous photos.
I wanted to showcase my must-have seasonal jacket paired with my go-to minimal essentials (white sweater + masculine inspired trousers).
I'm wearing the beautiful handmade cashmere camel jacket by Mute By Joanne Lu who makes the most gorgeous minimalist pieces for women with that masculine inspired flare I always desire.
Every season I see the camel coat back again and again so ladies (and gents - because they look amazing on males too!) its time to invest in this staple Fall/Winter piece because this one will be a permanent resident in your closet for years to come!
I prefer more masculine tailoring - oversized +/or slouchy to make a statement in these cold winter months.
I've also compiled a list of my favourite camel jackets for you to shop below:
... seriously I want these all ... but sadly neither my closet ... nor my wallet are big enough :p
